Safety & scope

Study with care.

The educational scope of Fire Yoga, and guidance for approaching intensive contemplative practices.

Education and reflection

This website offers educational explanations of traditional teachings. It is not medical or mental-health advice and does not provide diagnosis, treatment or personalized practice prescriptions.

Intensive practices require guidance

Do not use this site as instructions for breath retention, forceful breathing, bandhas, intense energy-raising methods or advanced internal alchemy. Such practices require appropriately qualified supervision.

Consider your circumstances

If you have a cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological or psychiatric condition, are pregnant, or have a history of fainting or seizures, consult an appropriate clinician before intensive breathwork.

Stop conditions

Stop a practice if you experience pain, faintness, chest pressure, severe panic, disorientation or persistent sleep disturbance. Seek appropriate medical care for concerning symptoms rather than treating them as proof of spiritual progress.

Traditional claims and biological evidence

References to immortality, deathlessness, powers or transformed embodiment are accounts of religious teachings. They are not promises of healing, resurrection or supernatural outcomes. Subtle-body diagrams do not establish anatomical structures.

Sources and translations

Current content and English renderings are editorial drafts. Follow citations, consult attributed editions and seek qualified textual guidance for disputed meanings.
